Spring Lakes Resort is Bundaberg’s first riverfront over 50s retirement resort. Empire Engineering was engaged to provide the detailed civil engineering design and documentation of all aspects of the project including bulk earthworks (including golf course), stormwater drainage, water and sewer reticulation networks, internal roads and external road upgrades. Empire Engineering also provided the structural engineering design and documentation of the Community Facilities including details for the main hall building (verandahs, covered terrace area and porte cochere) breeze ways, hydro pool building, bowls pavilion and bowls shade structure. Empire Engineering also obtained operational works approval for the civil design and is currently providing construction supervision of this one of a kind resort.
