This 7.2 hectare multi residential development includes a 45 lot residential subdivision and two townhouse developments - Lilyview (77 townhouses) and Butterfly Grove (71 townhouses). Empire Engineering was engaged early in the planning phase to develop concept level civil engineering layouts and a Stormwater Management Plan Report to accompany the planning approval application. Empire Engineering went on to provide detailed civil engineering design including bulk earthworks and retaining structures, roadworks, sewer and water reticulation networks and stormwater drainage (including Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) measures). Empire Engineering also facilitated the operational works and plumbing approval processes, prepared Bills of Quantities for various stages of the construction works, and prepared contract documents in accordance with AS4000. Empire Engineering is currently undertaking the role of Contract Superintendent including supervision of construction works and assessment of contractor progress claims.
