Civil & Structural Engineering: Empire Engineering- Description
Grow Early Education is Bundaberg’s newest contemporary early education centre. Empire Engineering was engaged early in the planning phase of this development to prepare a Stormwater Management Plan Report to accompany the planning approval application. Structural design works included the design of foundations, blockwork, structural steel and timber framing, bracing and details for main building structure and design of auxiliary structures including sign footings, fences, retaining walls, external walls and pathways. Civil design works included erosion and sediment control, surface levels, pavement and seal design for internal car parking areas, turn path diagrams and stormwater drainage. Empire Engineering also designed the hydraulic components including potable water supply, sanitary drainage and roof water drainage systems. Empire Engineering was also responsible for construction supervision of all civil and structural engineering elements.
